1980 911SC Oil Drip After Oil Change

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1980; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 72000;

I changed the oil for the first time a few weeks ago and I now have anoil leak coming from the oil pan drain plug (under the engine, not thereserve tank on the right). I replaced the washer, screwed in the boltbut I was afraid to put a lot of force on the bolt because it seemed likeit was starting to strip. It never really came to firm snug stop whenwrenching. A couple of questions:1. I noticed that the circular plate that receives the drain plug has aseries of small nuts that fastens it to the bottom of the engine. Iassume that this piece can be replaced. Is that very common?2. What material are the receiving threads made out of? Is it common forthe internal threads to be stripped?
