1982 911 SC Adjustable Spring Plates

Suspension

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Euro SC; Year: 1982; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 90,250;

I was getting ready to go through the suspension on my 1982 SC. This will be a track and autocross car. I was contemplating using adjustable spring plates when I changed my torsion bars to 22mm/28mm. Do you still need to trail and error the adjustment or is there enough range in degrees to simply do a close approximation, get the car on the ground and use the adjustment mechanism of the spring plate to acheive the desired ride height?
