1983 911 SC Leak from the transmission reverse light switch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC; Year: 1983; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 115,000;

I had to have my transmission rebuilt about 2 years ago because it was jumping out of first gear. After the repairs, I noticed that transmission fluid was leaking from the reverse light switch. I replaced the switch and sealing washer last summer with the engine/transmission in the car, but it did not correct the leak. Last month I removed the engine/transmission for some routine maintenance and to replace the switch again. With the transmission out of the car I was able to inspect the transmission and I did not see any cracks, etc. that would explain the leak. I replaced the switch and sealing washer again and torqued it to 25 ft-lb, the torque recommended in the Bentley manual.The transmission sat on my work bench for about 4 weeks while I completed the other maintenance and did not leak at all. I installed the engine/transmission Monday, 4/5 and have been driving the car daily since. Today, I noticed that the switch is leaking again. It's a minor leak, but annoying just the same. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks
