1983 944 Hard starting when warm (intermittent)

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944): 944; Year: 1983; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5 L stock; Total Mileage: 121000;

The car will, more often than not, give problems starting when it is warm (after shutting down and then trying to start up again). There is no trouble starting if it has been sitting more than 1-1/2 hours. There is no trouble starting when it is cold (morning). I have replaced all of the injectors, the fuel damper, fuel regulator, air flow sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter. I can usually get it started when hot by injecting carb cleaner into the vacuum port aft of the throttle plate. I have checked the fuel pressure at the port in the end of the fuel rail and found that it is right on the money - 2.0 bar at idle, 2.5 bar when shut down and 1 bar 20 minutes after shutdown. After putting the pressure gauge on the fuel rail (having dumped fuel pressure) the car would not start. There was no fuel pressure. I had to inject the carb cleaner into the vacuum port aft the throttle plate to get it started. I saw that there was a 1990 944 that seemed to have a similar problem. The only thing that I can think of, taking your previous answer into consideration, is that I may not have used grease on the new injector's o-rings during installation (the new o-rings came installed on the injectors).
