Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 carrera; Year: 1984; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 97,000+;

Did the 84 911 Euro model always use an oxygen sensor? The car has onebut was not hooked up. The heater wires were cut off and the input wirewas not connected. I am having trouble finding the wiring in the enginecompartment. According to the Carfax this car's biggest problem ispassing emissions; I know why. I have removed the plug to the ECU andfound that the connection 24 (female end) which is for the oxygen sensoris not there? The computer side pin is there, but have not opened up theunit to see if it connected to anything. I hope I can get more infobefore I open it. (connection 24 is missing as is 30,31,32 which isnormal) I hope I explained this well enough.
