Thank you so much for responding to my earlier questions regarding wheelsand tires. I have a few additional questions. In Bruce Anderson's book"Porsche 911 Performance Handbook, Second Edition," page 214, he providesa table of recommended wheel and tire alternatives, he recommends as onealternative for the 3.2 Carrera 7 X 16 front with 205/55 16 and 9 X 16with 245/45 16. Question 1. Will the 9 X 16 Fuchs rims with 245/45 16 fit on a standardCarrera , or is Mr. Anderson providing sizes for a Carrera with Turboflares? Questions 2. If the 245/45 16 will fit a standard Carrera will they alsofit on 16 X 8 rims (within the recommended rim width range of the tiremanufacturers). In my research so far I have only come across two V rated or higher tiresthat come close to the specified sizes for the 15 X 7 and 15 X 8 rimscurrently on my car; they are: Pirelli P6000 and Michelin Pilot XGT V4.If I move to the sizes that I wrote to you about earlier (205/55 15 and245/50 15) I can fit Dunlop SP Sport 8000 front and back, do you haveanother suggestion?I am trying to plan ahead a little, can you tell me if there are any goodbig brake kits that will fit the 15" rims or 16" rims, e.g., Porsche BigRed Brakes or are these strictly for 17" wheels? Is the best brakeupgrade for this model a set of 930 brakes and will these brakes fit 15"rims?
