1985 911 Carrera Brakes

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1985; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2 liter chipped, SSIs, Fordahl custom exhaust, K&N air filter w/drilled air box; Total Mileage: 100k;

Thought I would see what you have to say about this issue. The front brakes on my 85 911 seem to lock up sooner than any other car than I or several other people who have driven numerous 911s than normal. I have stock pads and have bled the fluid several times. The proportioning valve looks pretty basic so I'm not anticipating any issues there. What other things would you check or advise as upgrading calipers would take me out of class for autocross?
