1985/21 944 Battery Drain

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944): 944; Year: 1985; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5; Total Mileage: 128.000;
Battery goes dead after about 3-4 days . replaced old/new battery with a new 850 amp interstate. I hear the fan shut off and on after driving.all terminals are clean. Any suggestions ?
