1986 944 Turbo Head studs

Vehicle Information: Year: 1986; Total Mileage: 24K;

The headgasket on my 944T has failed due to a temporary overboost. (A connection to the cycling valve was broken, causing a unchecked overboost.) The boost would be cutdown with a sudden ignition cut. Unfortunately, the end result was a leaky headgasket and oil in the coolant tank. The question is whether the head studs need to be replaced, or just the gaskets, head nuts and washers. The factory manual lists only the gaskets, head nuts and washers. The studs appear to be in very good condition, and the engine has very little time on it (24K miles).I have purchased the Factory Cup (wide ring) gasket for the headgasket.Second question: How do you get the oil out of the cooling system?
