1986 944 Turbo Occasional Shut Down

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944): 944 Turbo; Year: 1986; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5 Turbo; Total Mileage: 150,000;

Ive just finished rebuilding my engine and have replaced every sensor in the engine. Now, before the engine was pulled, I always had a intermitant over boost problem. I tried replacing the Cycling Valve with little change. But now the engine will just shut down, sometimes without any warning and will remain dead for sometime. The DME relay is old, and the copper in the relay is begining to change colors from the heat. Every time you turn the key in when it turns off, the fuel pump cycles and the electric water pump does as well. Most of the time when the engine just turns off, it's while driving the car harder, the over boost kicks in and the car doesn't restart. This is so random, it's frustrating. And what gets it to restart is even more strange, it's always random. When I go to check all the wires and connections from all the sensors, sometimes it does start, other times not. Last night though, when it was doing this non-start, non-running the engine was over advancing and stopping the starter, which was a first.Is it possible that one of the new sensors is faulty? As in the knock sensor, or one of the timing sensors? Or is it a sign that either of the computers are going bad? And each and everytime I get this problem, I still get spark, timed out, but no pulsing in the fuel injectors.
