1987 911 interior lights and ign buzzer always on

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Model: 930; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.3 Turbo stock; Total Mileage: 86,000;

My interior lights and ignition buzzer are always on. I have removed and checked the left door contact switch, it seems just fine (right also, these are simple little switches. I think the brown/white wire coming from it is receiving a ground somwhere else, but I can't figure out where. I have the 1987 factory wiring diagrams, but still havn't found the problem. Is the warning relay located behind the fuel gauge receiving a signal from the door contact? I can remove power from the buzzer located on the ign switch, but thats only a temporary solution. Any ideas would be welcome.
