1987 924S A/C Fuse blowing

Heating and Ventilation

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944/968): 924S; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 110,000;

With the ignition on, if I turn the A/C dial, fuse 6 (25 amp) on the aux panel pops immediately. I''''ve replaced the A/C relay on the main board as well as the two by the passenger air vent. The main A/C relay (six pin) has thrown me for a loop - jumping 30 and 87 cause the A/C to work (but fails to blow through main vents). Terminal 85 has voltage and 86 has ground. If I jump A and B, the fuse will pop. Voltage comes in from B and goes out through A when the relay is activated by 85 and 86. Wiring diagrams appear to show that A leads to a ground point as well as the other relay.Is A not taking any voltage, backing up current to the fuse and causing to blow?What does terminal A do?
