1987 944 A-arms

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944/968): 944; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 117,000;

My ball joints are at the end and it is time for me to do something. I have factory sway bars and Koni shocks, but not M030. My first priority is safty. From what I read, this rules out rebuilt A frames or just replacing the ball joint. It also rules out lowering the car, with stock A frames. I have Toyo Proxy RA-1 tires. The tire manufacturer suggests 1-2 degrees of negative camber, which I do not have at this time. Is it safe to adjust the camber to this range, with the stock A-frames?My second priority is cost. Last is going faster. I found something I printed in 1999 that said the M030 A Frames are the same, except the front bushing is stiffer. This sounds like an upgrade worth considering. They gave part numbers Left 951.341.027.31Right 951.341.028.31They also mentioned supersessions to the M030 as Left 944.341.927.31Right 944.341.928.31Nothing was said as to what is the difference.I have heard of aftermarket A frames that are supposed to be better and allow lowering the vehicle safely, but know very little about them. I am only interested in considering something that is tried and proven. I would hate to pay the $$$$$$$ for stock A frames and find I should have gotten something else.I would appreciate any suggestions on the above.The same article suggested replacing the ball joint stud, every 100,000 miles or 50,000 for track use. I have no idea what this part is. Does this come with the A frames, that I will be replacing anyway?
