1987 944 Camber adjustment

Suspension

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944/968): 944; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 117,00;

I purchased a 1987 944 race car and have run a couple of regional races in SCCA's ITS class. I'm hoping to run in PCA and 944 Cup events soon, but am trying to sort out the suspension. I bought a set of Hoosier R6 tires and along with them came their info sheet on the care and feeding of the R6. In one section, it recommends the front camber be set at 3 degrees negative, but I believe the stock suspension is limited to about 1.5 degrees. Other than going to a full coil over set up, is there anyway to get 3 degrees? All the camber plates I have looked into, require coil overs. Any advice you can provide or other information source will be greatly appreciated
