1987 944 Turbo Boost control


Vehicle Information: Model(924/944/968): 951; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 92000;

I use the car 90% of the time as daily driver in the summer, 10% DE and auto-X, have installed chips (Weltmeister), but not the shims. I would like a little more response at lower rpm's, and of course more hp and torque but don't want to have to rebuild engine every other week (don't want to overstress).Options I have been given are: install 3 bar fuel pressure regulator (which I have), jet in the banjo bolt, boost enhancer from Paragon, or replace the blow off valve.Should I install the shims with any of these variations? Prices are as follows: jet-$15, enhancer-$90, new valve-$300-400.Thoughts?
