1988 91 Carrera Clutch

Transmission and Clutch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 cabriolet; Year: 1988; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 70,000;

The clutch is on it's last legs, original I'm sure.What recomendations as to the best replacemnt part's, I know the 87's and 88's were not great, 89 much better.I also get a clunking noise if I let off the gas fast and the car is moving, clutch fully out, also get same clunk if I hit gas hard on acceleration again with clutc fully out.Could this still be clutch related? What am I hearing?Appreciate all advice as to what parts to replace current clutch with, casual use, no track, and when I do have the engine dropped for clutch what else to do as I want to do this once.Thanks in advance, by the way I'm new at this with my Porsche, only owned it for a month and 800 miles.
