1988 911 Carrera Cam Seal Oil Leak

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 carrera ; Year: 1988; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): autothority mass flow, adj fuel pressure billet, ghl he; Total Mileage: 67,600;

I have a 1988 911 with 67,000 miles that has suddenly developed an oilleak which I thought was coming from the left side timing gear/chainhousing gasket. Upon inspection from my service tech he said it wasactually coming from behind the chain housing and that the seal on thecamshaft was what was leaking. Upon further inspection we realized thatthere was a small oil leak coming from the right side camshaft as well.My question is, "is this common for this year and why would they both goat the same time?" I take very good care of the car but do drive it hardon occasion at DE events. I recently installed an autothority mass flowunit which works great now but shortly after installation the car wasseverely bucking under load at different rpm ranges until it warmed up.Do you think this could have caused the leakage? Also how major a repairis this in regards to cost and time involved and is there anything else Ishould consider doing while in this part of the engine? Thank you for anyfeedback you can give me.
