Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera; Year: 1988; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; SSI exhaust; K&N airfilter; Total Mileage: 111,000;

I have the stock front oil cooler, with fan, in the right-front fenderwell. Would replacing it with an oil radiator in the center of an RSRtype front dam significantly reduce the risk of overheating compared tothe stock set up? I have raced in only two mini-enduros. In one the oiltemp gauge got up to between the middle mark and the red zone toward theend of the race. Also, would replacing the stock switch in the oilthermostat to one with a lower temp threshold be advisable?
