1989 911 Carrera 120K Mi service

Vehicle Information: Model: Carrera; Year: 1989; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2 stock; Total Mileage: 125,000;

I have postponed my 120,000 service until 125,000 miles. At this juncture, with the original shocks/struts and motor mounts, I have a concern that they may be in need of replacement. There are no symptoms specific to indicate that, however, except some bounce in the mirrors while negotiating irregularities in the road. The car is a daily driver and has not been raced. I have kept up with the recommended maintenance and also wondered if there are any specific things to look for with the regard to suspension as well as any other items that it has been your experience that may need attention prophylactically.I have had the clutch and T/O bearing replaced approximately 30,000 ago. The external oil lines have been replaced at approximately 75,000. And, inevitably, the directional signal stalk (twice). The car is a daily driver and has been very dependable and I would like to have it to continue to be good to me.
