1989 Carrera Hot Engine

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera; Year: 1989; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 85,000;

Car is an '89 Carrera. I have read all the entries on the website re. overheading problems but I'm still at a loss. I do NOT use the A/C first of all. Under normal use (city or highway) oil temps reach 210-230. During track use oil temps reach 250 within 6 minutes on a 70-80 degree day. I have replaced the ext. oil thermastat. The lines to the front cooler are hot and lines from the cooler are warm. The car idles/runs fine even when hot. Removing the cat. converter didn't make any difference. Unplugged O2 sensor - didn't make any difference. Oil lines don't feel to be crimped anywhere.
