1990 964 Targa seatbelt & airbag warning lights

Electrical and Electronic

Vehicle Information: Year: 1990; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.6; Total Mileage: 40,000 miles;

Problem: most of the time my seatbelt and airbag warning lights are lit, I suspect due to finicky seatbelt sensor connections.Question 1: near the end of Allan Caldwell's "Understanding Porsche Warning Lights" article in the December 2001 Panorama, a fix is mentioned whereby seatbelt switch contact pins and connectors are updated. Can I apply this fix to my 964? (Footnote 6 apparently refers to late-model Boxster and 996).Question 2: Assuming yes to Question 1, How can I obtain a copy of the Service Bulletin referenced in footnote 6? Alldata subscription for Boxster or 996? (I checked all the Service Bulletins listed on Alldata for the 964, I saw no match for the bulletin referenced in footnote 6).Question 3: How can I solve the problem?
