1991 928 Timing Belt...Replace, Retension, or Computer Reset???

Engine

Vehicle Information: Year: 1991; Engine (size, modifications): 5.0L; Total Mileage: 90180; Transmission type: Autotomatic;

I purchased a 1991 928 earlier this year. It currently has 90,180 miles and the service light has come on for the toothed belt service. According to the previous owner's documentation, the timing belt was replaced in February 1999 (at 49,175 miles) and again in February 2002 (at 72,931 miles). I've spoken with at least six different shops (including three dealers) and have received three different opinions...1. Timing belt needs to be replaced every four to five years or 60,000 miles and should be retensioned at 2,000 miles after replacement.2. Timing belt needs to be adjusted every 15,000 miles.3. Computer probably was not reset after last timing belt replacement. Need to go to a dealer's service department for reset.The two shops that offered opinion #3 disagreed with opinion #2. One (a dealer) said that opinion #2 was nonsense...you only replace the belt...no adjustments required.Has anyone dealt with this issue before? The quotes for the work to be done are all over the place and some wisdom is well needed so that I can make an educated decision.
