I'm on my third Deka battery. The battery in the car when I bought it was three years old. Since neither the technician nor I could locate excessive drain on the battery (48 to 52 mA) we replaced it in May '05. However, the new one didn't seem to accept a full charge of 13 or more volts, so the regional Deka people replaced it last week. Too early to know how it will react, but it went from 12.7 ish to 12.4 overnight, so this may not be fixed yet.Just wanted to provide some background information. I'm still puzzled as to why fuse #1 (RH/LH blowers) draws nearly 30 mA at all times. I can't hear anything running and I drove the car without fuse #1 and could not find anything that didn't operate, so it appears that nothing else is connected to that circuit. Any ideas?
