1991 C2 Vent Odor

Heating and Ventilation

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 C2; Year: 1991; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 74000;

When I got the car out of storage last month the vents blow a disgusting odor. Kind of like a diaper. Burning oil or fuel smell would be an improvement by comparison. My wife refuses to get into the car.I am unclear as to where fresh air enters the ventilation system. So I shined a light into the front grill and saw that one of the heat exchangers (?) had old grass and stuff on it. Cleaned that off but was no help w/ the smell. Please tell me where the fresh air comes in and if you have any ideas. Also, how do you get the center dash vents out so I can clean in there, just for fun.
