To follow up with my earlier question and your answer. Before I go out and buy a volts/amp meter to check the motor and the switch, I just like to let you know that the same motor which raises the rear part of the seat is the same motor that lowers the rear part of the seat. And that motor will "only" raises the rear part of the seat for me, but it will not lowers for me. In order for me to lower the rear part of that seat I now have to detach both cables from the motor then manually turn both cables to lower the rear part of the seat. If the motor is bad then it will not just do the raising only, don't you agree? Perhaps the motor bad for the down but still in good condition for the up? How can I test the up and down of the motor with the volts/amp meter? Perhaps the up switch is also in good conditon and the down switch is bad? How can I test the up/down switch with the volts/amp meter? Thank you in advance.
