1994 C2 Coupe

My question is not strictly technical. I havebeen a PCA member since buying my '94 C2 Coupe in 1998, and I dearly love the car. I regularly look through the classified section of Panorama. I almost NEVER see '94 Carreras for sale. In the March issue, there is a '94 C4 listed, and itsthe only '94 I can ever remember seeing listed for sale. Why is that? I realize that it is the lastyear of the 964, and that body style and otherredesigns occurred in the 993 and 996. Are there other reasons why they seem to me to be "closely held"? Was it a low production year, or perhapsa low sale year in the U.S.? Are there other distinctions in the design or performance thatmight cause them not to appear for sale asregularly as so many other years?
