1995 993 bump steer kit

Suspension and Steering

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 40000;

Hi Joel I have a question about the GT2 uprights w/ cup tierods offered for the bumpsteer elimination inherent in the 993. I've changed out my rear suspension geometry with a used '97 993, have the M030 swaybars, H&R over Bilstein HD's, and have purchased the GT2 uprights for good measure, have planned to instal when the Big Reds go on this winter. I recently was told that the uprights are a waste of money, unless you do a fully setup car with race suspension, monoballs, and camberplates. What is your take on this. am I overdoing it with this primary street/ "wanna be" weekend race warrior? And is the uprights a do-it-your-self project for a seasoned weekend warrior? Thanks again for your insightAlso, I read a thread from 5/22/08 about steering wheel extension for the 993. Just happend to see that Gert Carnewal is offering one for tall drivers of the 993, although it's somewhat expensive.
