1995 993 Coupe, Low Frequency Vibration at Cruise

Vehicle Information: Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 55000;

On the highway, at 65-85mph (cruising) I'm noticing, for lack of a better term, a "Thrum...Thrum" low frequency vibration. It's a vibration that seems to resonate like, "Thrum (count one-two-three) Thrum...(count one-two-three), etc", throughout the vehicle. Low amplitude and low frequency. Seems like it's more in the rear of the car. You feel it more than hear it.I've got no performance issues. Mileage is good as is oil consumption. Tires are 15000 miles and two years old with normal wear. This occurs with the windows/sunroof/air conditioning all in various combinations of operation.The Tiptronic tranny works fine and I have no other noises to complain about. Any ideas? I'm thinking shocks or motor mounts.
