Joel, I checked the voltage, I'm getting 14.14 volts. Any other thoughts? Thanks. CharlieQuestion:After taking my 993 out of the garage for the winter, the Alarm, electronic locking system no longer function. I had the car on battery charging system that I have used in the past. Also when the door is opened, the interior lights do not go on. I have also noticed that the heat does not work regularly. I've checked all the fuses and relays (nothing referenced for the electronic locks). Sound like a computer problem? Answer:Sounds like the battery voltage is very low. Even with a charger, when a battery goes bad, it could be below the required voltage. Check it with a voltmeter and see if you have at least 12.5 volts. It sounds like yours is well below that.
