1995 993 rear brake rotors

Brakes

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 58.000;

I need to replace my original rear rotors (the fronts were replaced by the previous owner with oem porsche ones). I am wondering about the benefits/drawbacks of going with a plain (non drilled) rotor on the rear, I have been unable to find a slotted rotor option. I understand that there is a benefit to moving the braking bias to the rear and it seems logical that the increase in surface area would be one way to accomplish this. Are there any drawbacks with this approach??Also, do you know anything about pagids new rs5 compound?Thanks in advance for your input.
