1995 993 Starting engine after storage

Vehicle Information: Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 80,000;

I have seen lots of postings concerning storing a car for winter but not much about getting it out of storage (in my case, for the last 5 months), especially about prepping the engine before starting. I have seen suggestions about grounding the distributor and cranking until the oil pressure registers (w/ fuel pump disabled), removing the plugs and putting oil in the cylinder, or as I was planning to do, hop in and fire it up. What's best? and How should I do it?Thanks.
