1996 993 C2 OEM Mufflers, Heat Shields, Engine Cover

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 993 C2; Year: 1996; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 44,000;

Joel,I just purchased the above referenced car (it's my 3rd 911). It's entirely stock with the following exceptions: the old owner removed the stock mufflers, heat shields and engine cover. The mufflers were replaced with an aftermarket system. The heat shields and engine cover were not replaced. I believe that everything behind the mufflers is stock (the cat is still there, etc.) I'd like to put the car back in it's original stock condition (meaning, I want to reinstall the stock mufflers, heat shields and engine cover). Two questions: 1) Do you have any recommendations for completing this procedure? Is there anything to know or of which to beware other than how to properly bolt the original parts back on? 2) Do you know of a quality muffler & heat shield replacement that sounds, looks and performs like the original mufflers? Do you know of an aftermarket replacement for the engine cover? I'd prefer not to spend $3,000+ for the parts from Porsche if possible. Thanks!
