1996 993 Cabrio "check engine " light reset drive cycle

Vehicle Information: Year: 1996; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 56,000;

The dreaded "check engine" light has come on and been reset in my 993. The cause was the typical secondary air system. To pass smog in California, evidently the car needs to be driven a certain way for a certain distance in a "drive cycle". All manufacturers use different criteria. Do you know what Porsche requires? The light is still out but I haven't jumped through all the hoops according to smog computer. The car is now for sale (I had made the decision before the light issue arose). It must have known what I was doing! Thank you very much for your help.
