1996 993 Failing brake system

Vehicle Information: Year: 1996; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 40,900;

Over the past few months brake pedal fade has crept into my 993. Twice now the pedal has actually gone all the way to the floor and must be pumped to regain pressure. Suspecting either master cylinder failure or excessive air in the system the car was taken to a very reputable Porsche shop. The master cylinder appears fine and the brake fluid replaced and bled 3 times with little improvement. I am now be told that in all likelyhood the car has been affected by some foreign substance placed into the brake system apparently in an act of vandalism. This has corrupted the ABS system requiring an expensive replacement of the ABS. For the life of me, I don't know how any substance other than brake fluid could have found its way into the system. Would really like you thoughts on this....Body Type: TargaCar Prep: StockTotal Mileage: 40,900Car Use: Street use only
