1996 993 fluid leak, and clogged secondary air passages, REVISED

Vehicle Information: Year: 1996; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 52000;

Car made a loud whining noise from front end, especially during left turns. Checked power steering fluid, level did not even touch dipstick. Added Dextron III (auto store told me Dextron II replaced by Dextron III), but overfilled it. Cleaned up excess in engine compartment. Now the car has an oily fluid that is leaking from the front end, just to the right of the midline of the car and slightly behind the front wheels. Any idea what it might be?Also, had "check engine" light come on about 3000 miles ago, was reset by dealer and was told the "secondary air passages clogged." I declined the $6000 engine rebuild. I've been running valve cleaner fuel additive, trying to avoid prolonged low engine speeds, and the light has not come back on yet. Any suggestions?Thanks
