1996 993 Secondary Air Inlet Clogging

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 1996; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 41,000;

I recently experienced the "check engine" light. One trip to the local dealership later, I was told I had secondary air injection clogging. I replaced the SAI valve (which was completely clogged) and then forced Techron through the secondary ports per the P-Car procedure. The secondary ports were not clogged but since I had it torn down that far...I did it anyway. I did one port at a time by blocking five ports with special adaptors. The whole thing went beautifully. Started the car...the "check engine" light was off.Thirty miles later the light is back on. A trip back to the dealership for diagnostics and the readout shows "clogged secondary injection." Specifically, diagnostic fault 108, 80, and 208 were activated.I'm afraid I'm about to get hosed for a $5000 job I don't need. The system is NOT clogged. Any suggestions before I open my check book?Thanks....
