1997 993 Clutch grab location vs 1996

Transmission and Clutch

Vehicle Information: Year: 1997; Body Type: Select One; Total Mileage: 14000;

I am considering buying a 97 993 coupe with less than 14K miles. I have a 96 993 cab with 34K miles and find the clutch pedal location of the two cars is different. My 96 cab clutch engages lower while the 97 coupe engages higher up. My 96 cab feels a bit stiffer while the 97 coupe somewhat looser. Can you tell me if this is something to worry about? Also the 97 coupe comes with a 18 month balance of a two year Porsche warranty. What does this warranty usually cover? Will it cover a clutch problem? How about brake pads and rotors? This warranty was given when the current (second) owner bought the car from a Porsche dealership.
