1997 993 Detached vs Attached Garage Storage

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 97; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 14, 000;

Joel,Learned much with all you A's to our Q's. Thanks much for your knowledge and dedication!I am very familiar with how to properly prepare for winter storage....from battery maintainers to rodent prevention. My questions are a bit different.Scenerio: If the 993 is stored for 3 or 4 months during winter in an UNattached garage where temps consistently get before freezing......1) Is it better for the cars mechanicals / rubber seals to be in an ATTACHED non-heated garage in which temps rarely get below freezing ? Compared to an UNattached garage with nearly constant sub freezing temps. If so, is the difference minimal or signficant for permature repairs ? BTW, think humidity levels are about the same in unattached and attached garages. 2) If there is no salt on the road - does it provide an excellent preventive maintenance to drive the car, put A/C on for one hour in between storage ? Or is that a bit of overkill ?? As driving car can take 3 hours per car for once a month to de-winterize, drive, and than re-winterize again. As getting older have less time and energy to be overly fanatical, but don't mind if productive hobby time. I usually keep my cars 15 or more years and big into preventive maintenance. Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving.
