1997 993 paint

Vehicle Information: Year: 97; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 43000;

The original owner ordered this 993 with no less then eleven major modifications,all verfied with a certificate of authenticity. It is simply a beautiful example of one of the final air cooled models. However there is one unique problem, and that is the paint. It is "viola metallic" that seems to have an unusual characteristic of bonding dirt as if it is electrostaticaly charged. The finish is original, beautiful and unblemised.However, even immediatetely after washing, lines of fine silt appears in ribbon fashion. The dirt can easily be wiped away, only to appear again in short order. Do I have a unique problem and can it be corrected. Thanks
