1997 993 Secondary Air Passages/Oil Mist

Engine

Vehicle Information: Year: 1997; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 17,000;

I have a 97 C4S that runs great, and I am very happy with. However, I am starting to worry about the OBDII problem I keep reading about. Utah uses it for testing, so I'd like to do a little preventative work.However, I can't find the information on DIY air passage cleaning. You refer to, "That is how Rob Kwate's job got up to 5 or 6 hours", and mention that it is posted, but I can't locate the original. I thought I looked everywhere, but probably overlooked it. Any additional guidance you can give me so I look in the right place will be appreciated. I am pretty handy around Porsches, and have the Workshop manuals, but haven't done more than routine maintenance on this car. Also, if you could let me know what kind of cleaner you recommend.The only "problem" I currently have is a nuisance. After driving the car rear end will be covered with a fine mist of oil. It doesn't seem to be coming from the exhaust, and the engine is clean (no leaks). Also, the mist is clean, unburned oil, so I don't think it is coming from internal to the engine. It seams to do it more when the engine is run hard, and seems to be a little more pronounced after an oil change (oil topped off). Is there a breather/vent that could be allowing oil to escape? Any thought you have would be appreciated.Car Prep: StockModifications: Total Mileage: 17,000Car Use: Combination Street and Track
