1997 993 Twin Turbo

Vehicle Information: Year: 1997; Engine (Size, Modifications): Stock; Total Mileage: 30000 miles;

I have recently purchased (2 days ago)a 1997 twin turbo, I previuosly owned a 1998 993 C2 Cabriolet. The 97 twin turbo vehicle is in very good shape with only 30,000 miles, I had it inspected and road tested prior to purchase by the local Porsche Dealer. My question is that I was wondering what the maximum turbo boost digital indicator should read, the manual states 0.7 bar however the highest I have seen it go is 0.6 bar. Do you think this is a problem or normal? Could the pressure transmitter be out of calibration. Is there a simple way to verify all is okay? Can this value be influenced and vary with ambient temperature and altitude?thanks
