1999 996 blowing oil on the engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 1999; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 31000;

I have owned the car since March and driven on 2 track days. After hard driving for 15 - 20 min there is oil sprayed on the engine and burning off of the exhaust. The spray tends to be on the right side. After the 1st occurance I cleaned the engine, refilled it with about 1 qt of oil. And nothing happened in normal (porsche normal) street use. After the second track day, 1 month later, I took the car to a dealership in Denver and the mechanic told me he thinks there is a problem in oil return from the right head back into the crankcase. Oil builds up in the head and blows about 1 qt out through a relief valve. He said this was a common problem in 1999 cup cars and porsche had a fix but there was no TSB issued. Is this something you know about, have opinions about and any suggestions?
