1999 996 C2 Coupe Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover

Suspension and Steering

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 1999; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 72000;

I recently purchased a 1999 996 C2 Coupe. The car is equiped with US MO30 suspension and it has been time trialed for about 6 years with the MO30 setup. It currently has 72K miles. I purchased this car for both street and track (time trialing). I have a few questions.1) I haven't got a chance to put this 996 on the track yet. How can I test the shocks and make sure they are not worn?2) If the shocks are worn, I am considering one of the following options: a. Simply replace the OEM MO30 shocks with a factory replacement or have them rebuilt. For rebuilding, do you have a source? b. Replace the MO30 shocks with Bilstein Sport, but keeping the MO30 springs c. Bilstein Sport shocks with H&R lowering springs d. H&R Coilovers e. PSS9 Coilovers f. KSport Kontrol Pro Coilovers. I wonder if you have an experience with this coilovers setup.I don't mind stiff ride. I am used to stiff ride with most of my cars. I am looking for the best track performance for the dollars.
