1999 996 engine noise - 'chirps'

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 996 C2; Year: 1999; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 90500;

I have a 1999 996 C2 with 90,500 mi. I have owned the car since new and have several Porsches. All street miles. Just developed a 'chirp' (like a little bird) noise in the engine area. I replaced the serp belt and the tensioner. When I get under the car it now sounds like the noise is possibly from the left cylinder bank area. Car starts and runs fine, burns/uses no oil. Always used Mobil 1 and changed between 5k - 7k miles. Thank you!
