1999 996 M537 Under Seat Controller and 6pt harness

Interior

Vehicle Information: Model: 996 C2 coupe; Year: 1999; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 53000;

I've now got the roll bar in, and I'm working on installing the 6pt harnesses (snap-in) on my car. The problem is the anti-sub mount points. The passenger side was fine, as there is plenty of room in the proper place to install the eye-bolts. The problem is the driver's side. The control box under the seat (with a big M537 label on it) is in the way, and the wiring is too short to just move it towards the center and install eyebolts on either side.From what I've read here, that box may also control the power locks and alarm system. Can you provide the part numbers for the controler for the alarm system and locks so I can double check that it matches this control box? If it's just the power seat controler (M537 is the power seat option), then can I just remove it without any problems (I still drive the car on the street with these seats, and the stock belts)?The GT3 seats have a bar that attaches to the mounting bracket for the anti-sub mounting points, but that's not club race legal (belts must be mounted directly to the body). What do club racers do with 996 cars do for the mounts?Thanks,Judd
