2000 996 ABS and PSM Faults

Brakes

Vehicle Information: Year: 2000; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 16,000;

My car has experienced intermittent PSM/ABS faults (PST2 tool reports fault code # 4460 - PSM pressure sensor) over the last four years. When I restart the car after a fault the ABS and PSM lights will go off. The car has been "repaired" by the dealer 6 times for this problem. Repairs to-date include just clearing the fault code, replacing the brake switch (three times), replacing the clutch switch, replacing the ABS control unit and pump, and the last time replacing the brake fluid reservoir. After only three months of trouble free driving (1500 miles), the ABS/PSM fault has reoccurred. I haven't seen any other reports of this problem in the Tech Section, so would appreciate your input on a) what may be causing this problem, b)how to fix it, and/or c) any other ideas about how to work with Porsche to reach a satisfactory solution.thanks...
