2000 996 Euro M030 Suspension

Suspension and Steering

Vehicle Information: Model: 996 C2; Year: 2000; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 15,000.;

Joel; Last week I had the Euro M030 sport suspension kit installed on my car. The work was performed by a very reputable shop that specializes in Porsche cars. As you know the kit includes shocks, springs and stabilizer bars. I was expecting to see the car lowered approximately 10MM rear and 20MM front, however the shop owner believes the car wound up being lowered by only about 10MM front and rear.After reading through all the posts I could find on this subject, of which there are many, I found one that mentions compensating plates. Do you know if it would have been necessary to replace the stock plates? I don't believe the kit comes with compensating plates and the shop owner didn't mention anything.Overall, the car has a great "feel" to it and ride quality is only slightly stiffer. Would you have any other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
