Wheels and Tires

Vehicle Information: Year: 2000; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 27xxx;

I have replaced all 4 factory turbo twist wheels with Mille Miglia cup wheels from Tire Rack after damaging the right side wheels and tires. The existing tires were a different compound (Continental ContiSport) and although they had fewer than 5000 miles, I had to replace all 4 tires to match. I replaced with S03 pole positions. The T.R. told me that the OEM center caps would fit, they don't (they are too loose). My questions are: are you aware of any "expanders" to allow the caps to fit tightly on the new wheels? Are the after market wheels significantly inferior to the Porsche wheels (I have heard and read here that some aftermarket wheels are manufactured by the same suppliers as for Porsche)? Did I make a mistake by not going with the Porsche wheels if this is not a car that is to be used for DE or in competitive events? THANKS. I enjoy your advice.
