2001 996 C4S the oil goes to the coolant but not the other way

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 4S; Year: 2001; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 55K;

The car runs great but the coolant had to be change 6 months ago because oil was getting to it. Now the coolant has oil again and the mechanic thinks that I need a new engine due to porosity but THE COOLANT DOES NOT GO TO THE OIL. The molecular size of the coolant is smaller than that of the oil, right? so the coolant should be going to the oil. What could it be?
