2001 996 cat bypass

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 996; Year: 2001; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 17,500;

A few weeks ago I purchased my first 911, after spending 23 years with my 944 (which still runs like a top). I have quickly noticed that the 911 needs more sound. Internet research seems to favor FabSpeed. I'm considering the cold air intake and exhaust, and was wondering if the cat. bypass pipes would help (or hurt) torque and hp. Was actually thinking maybe starting with the cat. bypass and stock mufflers since the bypass pipes will have an effect on noise. I noticed on the tech pages that you had purchased the cold air kit, but I never located your testing? Is it worth the money? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
